The impression of the conquest which emerges from their pages deals with a success which began and ended in Cajamarca, paying little attention to the technical and military elements brought by unknown Spaniards to the New World, as well as the political crisis which Tawantinsuyo was undergoing when they arrived, whilst native resistance to the invasion is almost forgotten.Os temas sobre a invasão e conquista do Peru, são apresentados pelos textos escolares do ensino médio sob uma visão européia. A versão dos cronistas adverte-se em diferentes fatos e termos usados pelos autores e que não vão além da simples narrativa: estimulam a memorização, falta o sentido crítico, deformam a realidade histórica. Das suas páginas surge a impressão que a conquista foi um sucesso que começou e terminou em Cajamarca e pouco fala-se dos elementos técnicos e militares trazidos pelos espanhóis desconhecidos nestas terras, assim como a crise política que vivia o Tawantinsuyo quando os mesmos chegaram; é quase esquecida a resistência indígena perante a invasão.Los temas sobre la invasión y conquista del Perú, son presentados por los textos escolares de educación secundaria de modo europeizante. La versión de los cronistas se advierte en diferentes hechos y términos utilizados por los autores, que no van más allá de la simple narración, estimulan el memorismo, carecen de sentido crítico, deforman la realidad histórica.
