Summary: The profound transformations that societies are undergoing have a significant impact on the production system. The article explores some of these mutations (technological, ecological or demographic), which give rise to new needs in the productive sphere. These transformations make it necessary to anticipate the training requirements of the workers who are currently carrying out these activities. To this end, an analysis is made of the employment fields with the greatest future, the necessary training or re-qualification required by these occupations and the difficulties that may accompany workers when it comes to accessing one or other, in particular the gender-based digital divide. The impact of the changes in each sector and company is (can be) different and it is up to the social partners to find the best way to protect jobs and improve (or maintain) previous working conditions without harming the smooth running of the production unit. This is precisely the objective to be achieved by just transition strategies (environmental and also technological).
