Laburpena: This article analyzes the emergence and the evolution of the nuclear dimension of the war in Ukraine from a triple perspective. After a brief contextualization, the study highlights the main developments in the nuclear narratives of great powers in the wake of the war, that is, Russian Federation, United States of America, the United Kingdom, France and China. Second, the analysis focuses on the dynamics related to the exercise of nuclear power, with special care of the risks related to a nuclear escalation and to an increased vertical and horizontal proliferation. Third, the study carries out a state of matter on the international nuclear order and the non-proliferation regime, together with the crisis of the European security system.
