Afterwards, it was sought to analyze how this technique has been used in the interpretation of the American Convention on Human Rights and its importance for the construction of the inter-American corpus iuris. Finally, in order to demonstrate how this hermeneutic activity takes place, the study analyzes some of the cases judged by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in which the evolutionary interpretation was used.Com base em referenciais nacionais e estrangeiros, a presente investigação, tem como objetivo precípuo analisar a utilização da técnica da interpretação evolutiva no âmbito do Sistema Interamericano de Direitos Humanos. Almejou-se demonstrar, primeiramente, que os instrumentos de direitos humanos, dada a sua natureza especial, permitem uma interpretação dinâmica, a fim de alcançar a sua concretização. Após, buscou-se analisar como essa técnica vem sendo utilizada na interpretação da Convenção Americana de Direitos Humanos e a sua importância para a construção do corpus iuris interamericano.
