Summary: |
This article critically reflects on public international law from the Third World approaches to International Law (TWAIL), a critical view of the discipline that analyses and questions the role of the international legal order in the domination of States, peoples and inhabitants of the third world. To do this, on the one hand, it questions the origin and nature, the underlying values, certain core ideas and concepts, and the dominant ontological and epistemological presuppositions of the discipline; and, on the other, explores alternative TWAIL proposals to transform and reorient international law towards global justice. |
