Summary: Doing the dogmatic study of the institutions of the duty of information in consumer law and in particular, the principle of product safety, the objective of analyzing the duty of information to drug consumers in Colombia was raised. The foregoing, in order to propose alternatives to the identified problem of lack of information for drug consumers; finding that it is possible to comply with this duty, under the implementation of communication strategies and the application of recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), against the fulfillment of the duty of information for these very special consumers.
