Since this right has become a safeguard for property and private goods, it is for this reason that its protection contained in the second and fourteenth amendments of the United States Constitution gives rise to indiscriminate use due to lack of regulation, affecting to such an extent rights inherent to every person such as the right to life and human dignity.Este artículo de reflexión tiene como objetivo analizar desde un estudio iusnaturalista el porte de armas en la normativa federal de los Estados Unidos. Esto en la medida que actualmente se han generado controversias suscitadas a raíz de la legislación existente en la cual la Corte Suprema ha salvaguardado y reafirmado el derecho a la defensa.
