Summary: In this research, the objective was to analyze legally and doctrinally the right to education of girls, boys and adolescents in the COVID-19 context. The research modality was based on the quantitative paradigm, with a documentary-bibliographic descriptive methodology, supported by the analytical-synthetic method. The survey was used as a technique, which was applied to a sample of 95 parents, from the San Jacinto del Búa parish, of the Santo Domingo canton. According to the results, it was evidenced that there is concern among parents since, first, the pandemic limited their access to the right to education, and second, because they mention that there have been no public policies of the Ministry of Education. It is concluded that the Ministry of Education must make the necessary efforts to control the effects of the pandemic and avoid the deprivation of learning and school dropouts.
