Summary: Child labor deprives children and adolescents of their growth process and prevents the deployment of their intellect, capacities, potentialities and fundamental aspirations for their integral development. The general objective of the research was to analyze the violation of the rights of children who carry out work activities. It is based on a thorough, rigorous and methodical review of documentary material. For this type of study, documents that were collected, selected and analyzed were used. Bibliographic design relies on logical and mental processes. An investigative process was organized where the study population was based primarily on written documents such as norms, laws, statistics and relied on the analytical-synthetic method. It is concluded that the State must expand compliance with the norms and treaties with the best interests of children and adolescents with regard to their violation as a worker.
