In the research, legal documents, norms and agreements, refereed works, among others, were examined, extracting relevant information, contributing to obtain information and generate knowledge. It is concluded that, the procedure of environmental protection, on air pollution by the operation of cantonal buses to the detriment of health, in the Canton Quevedo - Ecuador, is an action to prevent the violation of rights such as health and ecologically balanced environment, because it is necessary to take sustainable actions and to achieve an effective control by the State, of the effective protection demanded by the Magna Carta. En la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo general analizar jurídicamente la contaminación del aire por buses, en perjuicio de la salud, Quevedo, Ecuador. Éste estudio se desarrolló desde el paradigma cuantitativo de tipo documental-bibliográfico. En la investigación se examinaron documentos legales, normas y convenios, trabajos arbitrados, entre otros, extrayendo información relevante, contribuyendo a la obtención de información y generación de cocimiento.
