The research was carried out under the quantitative paradigmatic modality, analyzes how factors of the economic crisis affected the quality of life of the Riobamba population; it is enriched with the contributions of a descriptive methodology based on data collection, explores the impacts in the economic field of the population in Riobamba. As a first point, the material situation generated by the pandemic and related to the daily life of the population is reviewed through an analysis of the economy of the canton; the main problems that this crisis generates in the economic field, as well as in the field of mental health, are pointed out. In a cross-cutting manner, possible scenarios in the area of security are recognized. The general objective of this descriptive research project is to determine the influence of covid-19 on the economic situation of families in Riobamba, at the same time. |
