The general objective of the research was to legally analyze the right to political freedom in social networks in the Ecuadorian presidential elections 2021. From the quantitative paradigm, the research design was based on documentary-bibliographic designs represented by the different sources of law such as legislation, doctrine and jurisprudence; in order to analyze them with the purpose of providing new knowledge. It was delimited to the electoral roll for the 2021 presidential elections of the voters of Riobamba, Province of Chimborazo, whose population is 190,042 people, and a representative sample of 400 people, based on the finite sample formula to whom a questionnaire with five closed multiple choice questions was conducted for surveys via online to users of Facebook, Instagram. It is concluded that the right to freedom of expression is the innate and indivisible condition that every human being has to express himself. |
