Crime is a social problem that harms citizens by exposing them to a wave of danger, the increase in crime rates causes constant uneasiness and perception of insecurity in society, no doubt, some researchers considered it remarkable to conduct research to substantiate and understand the causes. Regarding the methodology applied is descriptive, using the literature review at the level of the province of Chimborazo, where a significant increase in crime was identified, in addition to one of the main annoyances of the population is not being able to work with dignity, as their businesses or enterprises are affected by the constant robberies that occur, under that criterion the objective of the research is directed to socialize on crime issues and provide society with a citizen strategy.La investigación aborda el tema de Ecuador un país de peligros sin descanso. La delincuencia es un problema social que perjudica a la ciudadanía exponiéndola en una ola de peligro, el aumento de índices delictivos provoca constante intranquilidad y percepción de inseguridad en la sociedad, sin duda, algunos investigadores consideraron notable realizar la investigación para fundamentar y comprender las causas.
