In the context of societies submerged in prolonged internal armed conflicts and that try to move towards conditions and context of Peace, the exercise of the reconstruction of the truth becomes a priority and there, it is essential to understand that forgetfulness, silence and what is not remembered constitute a way in which society paradoxically builds social representations of historical events (RSHH) of the armed conflict. Thus, the historical facts of the armed conflict are marked by forgetfulness and silence and by processes of attribution of responsibility in which one of the parties is assumed to be the main responsible and absolute enemy, which makes the responsibility of the other actors invisible and generates a convenient neglect, functional to the interests of certain social sectors that maintain significant rates of impunity and use political violence to perpetuate their power, constituting this scenario, a psychosocial barrier to the construction of peace and reconciliation in Colombia.

Assim, os fatos históricos do conflito armado são marcados pelo esquecimento e silêncio e por processos de atribuição de responsabilidade em que uma das partes é assumida como o principal responsável e inimigo absoluto, o que torna invisível a responsabilidade dos demais atores e gera um descaso conveniente, funcional aos interesses de determinados setores sociais que mantêm índices significativos de impunidade e utilizam a violência política para perpetuar seu poder, constituindo esse cenário, uma barreira psicossocial para a construção da paz e da reconciliação na Colômbia.En el contexto de sociedades sumidas en prolongados conflictos armados internos y, que intentan transitar hacia condiciones y contexto de Paz, el ejercicio de la reconstrucción de la verdad se hace prioritario y allí, es esencial comprender que, los olvidos, silencios y lo no recordado se constituyen en una forma en la cual la sociedad construye, paradójicamente, representaciones sociales sobre hechos históricos (RSHH) del conflicto armado.
