The methodology developed was based on the quantitative approach, resorting to the documentary-bibliographic typology, which allowed establishing the analysis of the object of study, with the purpose of describing the topic approached from the legal field. In addition, the analytical-synthetic method is used jointly, by means of which a whole is decomposed into parts, extracting qualities, components, relations and more in order to later join the analyzed parts. The material approached consisted of graduate theses, scientific research and refereed works. It is concluded that the Latin American vision of the art of public policies in education is to promote quality training processes that respond to local demands and needs, as in the case of the Dominican Republic, constituting a stimulus for this region.En la presente investigación se planteó como objetivo general analizar jurídicamente las políticas públicas y educación perspectiva latinoamericana desde el contexto de República Dominicana. La metodología que se desarrolló se apoyó en el enfoque cuantitativo, recurriendo a la tipología documental-bibliográfica, lo que permitió establecer el análisis del objeto de estudio, con el propósito de describir el tema abordado desde el ámbito jurídico. Además, conjuntamente se utiliza el método analítico-sintético por medio del cual, se descompone un todo en partes extrayendo cualidades, componentes, relaciones y más para posteriormente unir las partes analizadas. El material abordado se conformó por tesis de grado, investigaciones científicas y trabajos arbitrados.
