The prosecutor's office has the double moral and constitutional obligation to apply both the principle of objectivity and procedural celerity. In Ecuador there are mechanisms and instruments to effectively develop the principle of objectivity; however, this could be affected by failures such as corruption, partiality, favoritism, lack of professional ethics, delay in the processes, existing vulnerability in the concrete fact of the applicability of such principle, being recurrent, to count on the strengthening of the Ecuadorian judicial system, with the purpose of avoiding the constitutional violation of human rights.Se plantea la necesidad de analizar el principio de objetividad en el proceso penal ecuatoriano. La investigación se desarrolló desde una concepción metodológica descriptiva documental con diseño bibliográfico, esto permitió estructurar un análisis de 18 documentos jurídicos relacionados al tema planteado, con la intención de extraer las ideas principales mediante la técnica análisis de contenido y subrayado de información. La fiscalía tiene la doble obligación moral y constitucional de aplicar tanto el principio de objetividad y celeridad procesal.
