Laburpena: The value of the drone logistics and freight transport market is estimated at $ 11.20 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $ 29.06 billion by 2027, with a CAGR of 21.01% over the forecast period. The research methodology used to estimate and forecast the size of the drone logistics and transport market, on which this information was based, consisted in obtaining data on the revenues of key market players from sources such as company websites, corporate documents, annual reports, investor presentations and paid databases. It is expected that the growing demand for ever faster deliveries in the logistics industry will drive the development of the logistics market and the transport of goods by drones. The armed forces also use drones to supply soldiers with equipment, spare parts, food and ammunition on the battlefield. The article uses the terms unmanned aerial vehicles, UAV-Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and "drones" interchangeably to denote the same technology of flying machines. This is due to the fact that there is no uniform, international standard in this respect and different names are used formally or more commonly in different countries.
