In this work, we will refer especially to the right to the protection of personal data and the use of these in the criminal field.El objeto del trabajo ahora presentado se centra en la protección de los datos personales en un mundo globalizado dónde el auge de la tecnología está al orden del día y que donde los datos personales constituyen un elemento más a tener en cuenta a la hora de determinar la participación de un determinado sujeto en un hecho criminal. Ahora bien, debemos partir de la naturaleza sensible de estos datos recopilados y la incidencia de los mismos en nuestros derechos fundamentales.
