Métrica de calidad para entornos educativos
description
Educational quality is the basis for the progress of humanity, consequently, a good educational system helps to minimize inequalities and to achieve egalitarian, open and peaceful societies. At present, the evaluation or measurement of educa-tional quality has become a common practice, especially in those countries that want to succeed in the purpose of having a quality education extended to all. The fundamental purpose of this research is to capture the generalities about the metric of educational quality, especially in Latin America. Because of this, it was decided that the study will be carried out based on a bibliographic design and a review methodology. In the review it was possible to demonstrate the existence of many systems to evaluate the quality of education. In this sense, there are different international organizations that are in charge of promoting educational quality goals, as well as others that are in charge of evaluating the extent to which these goals are met, such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Culture – UNESCO, which, together with its member countries, carry out this work. Virtually all Latin American countries have developed organizations in charge of evaluating the quality of education, generally dependent on the public power through the Ministry of Education, based on international guidelines for these metrics. Finally, it is important to highlight that the results of the measurements are fundamental, not only to draw conclusions regarding the measurement of compliance with goals, strengths, and weaknesses, but also as a comparative instrument between certain periods of time, as it will be to compare the results of Measurement before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, to assess its impact and possible actions to follow.
