Thus, the very characterization of the right, the procedure to make it effective or the conditions that must be met to exercise it have been the subject of analysis by courts and tribunals, giving rise to an interesting doctrine.Entre los instrumentos de conciliación de la vida familiar y laboral que regula el Estatuto de los Trabajadores, el derecho a solicitar la adaptación de la jornada ha adquirido en los últimos tiempos una extraordinaria relevancia, al tratarse de una medida que posibilita la modificación de la jornada de trabajo a fin de dar respuesta a las necesidades de conciliación del trabajador. Sin embargo, su aplicación no está exenta de interrogantes.
