It is achieving the aim of reinforcing job stability and reducing temporary employment. However, important pending issues remain. The Spanish labour market still exhibits a high incidence of relatively unprotected part time jobs in relation with the EU. The wage gap vis-à-vis Europe is also significant. This article analyses the evolution of the distribution of wages and profits in Spain, highlighting the persistence of job precariousness. In the current context of the inflation crisis and slowdown in economic activity, salary devaluation is not the appropriate recipe, neither from a social justice perspective nor for economic efficiency. An income pact that achieves a balanced distribution of the social and economic costs of Putin's war will avoid starting an inflation spiral and an economic recession.La reciente reforma laboral aprobada en España en diciembre de 2021 está dando sus frutos. El objetivo de reforzar la estabilidad laboral y reducir la temporalidad se está consiguiendo. Sin embargo, el mercado de trabajo español aún mantiene un peso de la contratación parcial superior a la media europea, y, sobre todo, está bastante lejos de los estándares europeos en materia salarial. Este artículo analiza la evolución de la distribución de las rentas salariales y empresariales en España, poniendo de manifiesto los avances cosechados desde la reforma laboral y los factores de persistencia de la precariedad. Ante la coyuntura actual de crisis de inflación y freno de la actividad económica, la devaluación salarial no es la mejor receta, ni desde una perspectiva de justicia social ni por eficiencia económica.
