The creation of spaces where actors such as parents, family members, schools, teachers, and health professionals can interact is an alternative to obtain answers to overcome the vulnerability to early pregnancy. This article aims to characterize early pregnancy according to the level of knowledge adolescents from Baptist College of Huambo – Angola possess. The investigation carried out is qualitative in nature. For this purpose, the method of direct observation, interview, and questionnaire was used. This approach points to early pregnancy due to limited sex education among adolescents. The results indicate that early pregnancy is associated with insufficient education of families and their structuring, early sexual development, and the economic level.

O objectivodeste artigo é de caracterizar a gravidez precoce de acordoaonível de conhecimento que as adolescentes doColégio Baptista do Huambo – Angola, possuem. A investigação realizada é de naturezaqualitativa. Para o efeito, empregou-se o método da observação directa, da entrevista e do questionário. Esta abordagemaponta a gravidez precoce como consequência da limitada educação sexual entre as adolescentes. Os resultados obtidosindicam que a gravidez precoce está associada à insuficiente educação das famílias e suaestruturação, aodesenvolvimento sexual precoce e aonível económico.La creación de espacios donde puedan interactuar actores como padres, familiares, escuelas, docentes y profesionales de la salud es una alternativa para obtener respuestas para superar la vulnerabilidad ante el embarazo precoz. El objetivo de este artículo es caracterizar el embarazo precoz según el nivel de conocimiento que poseen las adolescentes del Colegio Bautista do Huambo – Angola. La investigación realizada es de carácter cualitativo. Para ello se utilizó el método de observación directa, entrevista y cuestionario. Este enfoque apunta al embarazo precoz como consecuencia de la escasa educación sexual de las adolescentes.
