description
The work is developed from the theory of resource mobilization and identity, analyzing the peasants' mobilization in a municipality of northern Sinaloa from 1994 to 2002. The dynamics of the movement are studied under three dimensions: emergence, development, and outcome. Thus, analysis axes are addressed such as organization forms, collective action repertoires, leadership; Marciano Coronel Madrid, Gumaro Jaques Salas, Saúl Rubio Ayala, social leaders who had moved in different political parties; the mobilization repertoires such as the taking of the "4 Caminos" toll booths in Sinaloa (1997). Over and above legal struggle undertaken by leaders for demands' configuration such as granting of water for their lands, better prices, and managing to compete for the municipal presidency of the Sinaloa municipality, aspects that were achieved over time.
