Summary: Proudhon spent much of his work in deducing the federative principle according to philosophy and history, as well as in highlighting the superiority of this idea over those that had preceded it, whether monarchical or republican. The purpose of this research is to reconstruct the interpretation of Contemporary France that Proudhon made in the light of his political thought, and that made him conclude that the federation of his country would be the definitive formula to close a troubled history and ending the social problem, but it had always been stolen by revolutionaries and republicans. Proudhon defended against the mainstream the idea of federation for France. In this work his philosophical and historical works are taken as a fundamental basis for explanation, while the most significant Proudhonian bibliography related to this subject is collected.
