The present work is framedw ithin the historical debts that the country has had, the issues that it has left aside, that it has neglected, or deliberately has not paid due attention to. One of them is the original, indigenous, ancestral Law that is now approached as intercultural justice, or legal pluralism, and that has just begun to be treated as a new theory and trend that should deserve a place in the construction of a new country in the next years.next years.A inicios del siglo XX en el sur del Perú, particularmente en Puno y Cusco, se gestó una preocupación por el Derecho indígena. Ahora, a propósito de los 200 años de República, cabe recordar qué motivaciones tuvieron los impulsores de dicha propuesta, qué actividades desarrollaron, qué tipo de resonancia tuvieron sus aportes en el espectro nacional. El presente trabajo se enmarca dentro de las deudas históricas que ha tenido el país, los temas que ha dejado de lado, que ha descuidado, o deliberadamente no le ha prestado debida atención.
