Summary: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (msme’s) represent a strategic sector for economic development of Mexico, mainly in terms of employment promotion, productivity, and traditional innovation. Inside the sector, the highest number of companies stablished in the country are microbusinesses, which face difficulties related to the access to financial and non-financial support, being especially vulnerable to economic recession environments. Because a possible recession caused by the containment measures for the pandemic of the SARS-Cov-2 virus, the present work presents a comparative analysis among regions and contingencies management using ANOVA technique and post-hoc analysis with Tukey test. Results show that contingencies managements have significative differences among sectors related to manufacturing, commerce and services, and among the different regions that group the Mexican federative entities
