However, there is no regulation that considers this phenomenon within the legal framework in our country. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to establish the main reasons for the regulation of the Parental Alienation Syndrome in the Peruvian legal system. Finally, it was concluded that the prompt regulation of SAP in our legal regulations is essential, in this way, the number of cases and the devastating consequences concerning this pathology will decrease.El Síndrome de Alienación Parental en el área de Derecho y Psicología es una problemática muy frecuente que consiste en un cuadro clínico asociado a una patología en la salud mental del alienado, el cual manifiesta una conducta de rechazo hacia el progenitor débil debido a la persuasión negativa del progenitor fuerte con el menor. Sin embargo, no existe ninguna regulación que considere este fenómeno dentro del marco legal en nuestro país. Por ello, el objetivo principal de este estudio es establecer los principales motivos para la regulación del Síndrome de Alienación Parental en el ordenamiento jurídico peruano.
