Through a study of files raised before that Court in the 1850s and 1860s, we propose an approximation to the margins of action, strategies, and notions of justice of some of the women who appeared before that Court.El presente artículo busca indagar en la participación de mujeres trabajadoras ante el Tribunal de Comercio de Buenos Aires. En particular, se centra en los cambios que la sanción del Código de Comercio de 1859 pudo haber provocado en dicha participación, dadas las restricciones que la nueva codificación explicitaba, tanto en torno a lo que quedaba comprendido en el acto de comercio, como al lugar de las mujeres en ese ámbito.
