The purpose of this article is to address the particular case of the interpretation of rights in accordance with international treaties in Cuban law, taking into account the increasingly growing importance of this matter in the current legal debate. The methods of analysis, synthesis, legal-comparative and exegetical-legal are used in the reflection. Among the results, it can be affirmed that there are limitations in the recognition of this institution, whose initial proposal in the reform project was not incorporated into the constitutional text approved in 2019.
