The result is the confirmation of a transversal system of protection, tremendously heterogeneous and lacking in unity, which requires the action of the legislator to unify the different measures if families are to be truly protected by Social Security.Con este trabajo se analiza el conjunto normativo de Seguridad Social dirigido a la protección de la familia. Con independencia de si se trata de una protección directa o indirecta, se señalan las diferentes prestaciones contributivas y no contributivas que tienen objetivos de carácter familiar.
