We also see how he questions the role of metaphysics and decisions in interpreting and shaping the world. Put differently, following readings such as those of Ojakangas and Herrera, we argue that the thematization of legal and political phenomena causes Schmitt to propose a theory of human understanding with general implications.A partir de uma análise jurídica e política, o objetivo deste trabalho é justificar que, em suas primeiras obras, Schmitt elucida algumas estruturas ontológicas que operam em todo o conhecimento humano. Em especial, é evidenciado que, nesses trabalhos, o jurista alemão se identifica e se aprofunda na finitude e na historicidade (em seu sentido pessoal e temporal). Além disso, vemos que isso o leva a questionar o papel da metafísica e a da decisão na interpretação e configuração do mundo. De outra forma, argumentamos, seguindo leituras como as de Ojakangas e Herrera, que a tematização do fenômeno jurídico e político levam Schmitt a propor uma teoria da compreensão humana com escopo geral.Este trabajo tiene por finalidad justificar que en sus obras tempranas Schmitt, a partir de su análisis jurídico y político, elucida algunas estructuras ontológicas que operan en todo el conocimiento humano. En particular, se evidenciará que en estos trabajos el jurista alemán identifica y ahonda en la finitud y la historicidad (en su sentido personal y epocal). Veremos, a su vez, que esto lo lleva a cuestionar el rol de la metafísica y la decisión en la interpretación y configuración del mundo.
