Celaya city placed in Guanajuato State, Mexico,
nowadays is one of the most violent urban
settlements in the country. The criminographic
study of 2015-2021 period shows the causes that
has promoted this struggle that affects to its
population and finds its outcome in the
confrontation among Cártel Santa Rosa de Lima
versus Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación.
Structural aspects such as social inequality that
generates problems like poverty and crimes have
been present in such city and some other of the
country and Latin America. Qualitative and
quantitative perspectives were fundamental
with multi-disciplinary approaches and thus
deepen in the analysis of such complex topic. |
