For years, the "bad guys" of the European club have violated the fundamental values of the European Union, through their corruption, their attacks on the independence of its judges and prosecutors, the media and, finally, vulnerable social groups, such as migrants or the LGTBIQ+ collective. Well, in this paper we analyze the fundamental values of article 2 of the TEU and the political, jurisdictional and economic instruments that the European institutions have been using with quite relative results and effectiveness in the face of events that are often already accomplished. |
