The pandemic generated by the sars-CoV2 virus showed us the weaknesses we have at all levels, from the personal level to the various responses of the countries. In most cases, it showed us the deficiencies in the health and social security system; in others, the delay in the use of electronic media in the administration of justice was very visible. The public perception is that the administration of justice in Mexico is very slow. Faced with a pandemic that forced us to close the courts, we found ourselves with an insufficient use of electronic media for this purpose and with intra and inter-departmental communication still on paper. This revealed to us the need to implement technology urgently, because if the administration of justice cannot stop, even less so in the criminal field and in the application of alternative mechanisms, which are the first option to try to resolve conflicts. In the state of Jalisco, there was a reaction and actions were taken to implement the use of technology in the criminal process and alternative mechanisms; however, even more must be done to be prepared for any future eventuality.

Na maioria dos casos, ele nos mostrou as deficiências do sistema de saúde e previdência social, em outros, o atraso no uso de meios eletrônicos na entrega da justiça era muito visível. A percepção pública é de que a administração da justiça no México é muito lenta. Diante de uma pandemia que obrigou ao fechamento dos tribunais, fomos confrontados com um uso insuficiente dos meios eletrônicos para este fim e com uma comunicação intra e inter-agências que ainda era baseada em papel. Isto nos revelou a necessidade de implementar a tecnologia urgentemente, pois se a administração da justiça não pode parar, muito menos no campo criminal e na aplicação de mecanismos alternativos, que são a primeira opção para tentar resolver conflitos. No estado de Jalisco, houve uma reação e ações foram tomadas para implementar o uso da tecnologia no processo criminal e mecanismos alternativos; entretanto, é preciso fazer mais para estar preparado para qualquer eventualidade futura.La pandemia generada por el virus sars-CoV2 nos mostró las debilidades que tenemos en todos los niveles, desde el ámbito personal hasta las diversas respuestas de los países. En la mayoría de los casos, nos mostró las deficiencias en el sistema de salud y de seguridad social, en otros fue muy visible el atraso en la utilización de los medios electrónicos en la impartición de justicia. La percepción ciudadana es que la administración de justicia en México es muy lenta. Enfrentarnos a una pandemia que obligó a cerrar los juzgados nos encontró con una insuficiencia en el uso de medios electrónicos para ese fin y con una comunicación intra e interdependencias aún en papel. Esto nos reveló la necesidad de implementar la tecnología de manera urgente, pues si la administración de justicia no puede parar, menos en el ámbito penal y en la aplicación de los mecanismos alternativos, que son la primera opción para tratar de resolver los conflictos.
