Sumario: Jean Luc Nancy (2020) reffered to the pandemic as an all-too-human virus. This is a virus linked to our modes of production and consumption: to the unlimited use of all available forces, natural and human, with a view to a production that has no other purpose than itself. The virus, Nancy points out, comes to show us that there are limits. From this reading, the article proposes three conceptual contributions to rethink our way of inhabiting the world. World not as a self-evident concept but as the indeterminate that each new generation must conceive and create. It also reflects on the place of law in the framework of this challenge.
