Summary: Artificial intelligence and Alternative Dispute Resolution have become the two main axes whereby to build a new and more efficient model of Justice, aimed at promoting better access to justice. Thus, taking into account that artificial intelligence is already a reality in many areas of daily life, as well as in the field of justice, in which it has been shown to develop multiple applications, and even in the sphere of extrajudicial conflict resolution, this paper proposes to analyse the compatibility between artificial intelligence systems and the respect for human rights and fundamental rights and freedoms, in particular the access to justice right and, more specifically, its exercise by women under equality conditions insofar as one of the factors that stands out as the main cause of vulnerability is precisely gender. In this context, the question that is raised is about the place that new challenges in the field of justice, such as artificial intelligence —and its applications in ADR systems— may have in the desideratum of gender equality.
