As an alternative measure, even in situations of structural crisis, the RED Mechanism is created, a new ERTE that will require its activation by the Council of Ministers, negotiation within the company and administrative authorization.El Real Decreto 32/2021, de Medidas Urgentes para la Reforma Laboral hace una apuesta clara por las medidas de flexibilidad interna como alternativa a las extinciones de contrato de trabajo, incorporando al art.47 del ET la mayor parte de las medidas que permitieron sostener la ocupación laboral recogidas en los VI Acuerdos Sociales en Defensa del Empleo, Reales Decretos-Ley de medidas urgentes para la protección del empleo en la pandemia, en el periodo COVID.
