Summary: The distinctive signs are especially relevant for companies. We are talking about those resources that businessmen use as the owners of a company in order to differentiate from their competitors by way of their denomination «trade name» or their products«trademark». Two or more identical or similar trademarks can coexist simultaneously, providing they refer to different products or services. There also can arise conflicts among the distinctive signs, mainly trademarks and domain names in the Internet. It is possible that the conflict arises between signs and names identical or similar but with subjects acting in different business sectors.
