Abstract After illustrating to the reader about the nature of serial sex offenders, this article develops two case studies documented by the Attorney General’s Office for the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Criminal Matters and the National Police, extracted from the lines of investigation implemented by these institutions for years. This research exercise forms a multiple case study that seeks to expand the available knowledge on the subject, making the respective analyses against the nature of individuals who commit this kind of transgressions and their criminal dynamics. The results of different interviews, review of judicial file, application of psychometric tests in two subjects captured and convicted for the commission of sexual assaults of similar characteristics are found. In both cases, the sexual crime is the target of the activity, predominating the use of threat with a sharp weapon; in both cases these behaviors occur after the age of 18, the subject (i) presents 23 victims registered in the judicial system, and the subject (ii) 15 recognized victims; regarding psychological characteristics, both in childhood and adolescence presented problems in compliance with norms, with low tolerance for frustration and macho attitudes.

Este exercício de pesquisa forma um estudo de caso múltiplo que busca ampliar o conhecimento disponível sobre o tema, fazendo as respectivas análises contra a natureza dos indivíduos que cometem esse tipo de transgressão e sua dinâmica criminal. São encontrados os resultados de diferentes entrevistas, revisão de arquivo judicial, aplicação de exames psicométricos em dois sujeitos capturados e condenados pela prática de agressões sexuais de características semelhantes. Em ambos os casos, o crime sexual é alvo da atividade, predominando o uso de ameaça com arma afiada; em ambos os casos esses comportamentos ocorrem após os 18 anos, o sujeito (i) apresenta 23 vítimas registradas no sistema judicial, e o sujeito (ii) 15 vítimas reconhecidas; quanto às características psicológicas, tanto na infância quanto na adolescência, apresentaram problemas no cumprimento das normas, com baixa tolerância à frustração e atitudes machistas.Resumen El presente artículo, luego de ilustrar al lector sobre la naturaleza de los agresores sexuales seriales, desarrolla puntualmente dos casos de estudio documentados por la Procuraduría Delegada para el Ministerio Público en Asuntos Penales y la Policía Nacional, extraídos de las líneas investigativas que implementan estas instituciones desde años atrás. Este ejercicio investigativo conforma un estudio de caso múltiple que busca ampliar el conocimiento disponible sobre la materia, haciendo los respectivos análisis frente a la naturaleza de los individuos que cometen esta clase de transgresiones y a sus dinámicas delincuenciales. Se encuentran los resultados de diferentes entrevistas, revisión de expediente judicial, aplicación de pruebas psicométricas en dos sujetos capturados y condenados por la comisión de agresiones sexuales de similares características. En ambos casos, el delito sexual es el objetivo de la actividad, en el que predomina amenaza con arma cortopunzante.
