Summary: Anesthesiology is a branch of medical sciences whose development reached and thanks to the better understanding of multi-inter and transdisciplinarity processes, today we can talk about perioperative medicine, pain medicine and critical care medicine. Anesthesiolo-gists administer different types of anesthesia: from monitoring the patient awake or with various degrees of sedation, without anesthesia or with local anesthesia, to performing various types of peripheral blocks, neuraxial blocks or different types of general anesthesia. The great objectives that regional anesthesia has achieved in recent years with a view to reducing the use of opioids have been a lower rate of infections, a lower risk of renal failure or pulmonary complications associated with pain, early extubation, and a reduction in the risk of cerebral ischemia. and cardiac, lower economic costs, shorter stay in ICU and hospital. Cardiac arrhythmias are one of the most frequent complications of the anesthetic act. Due to the frequency with which the influences of the anesthetic processes are manifested in the functioning of the heart, it is intended to make a tour of the scientific investigations and the theoretical considerations that derive from the anesthesiology techniques of vascular accesses and the branch of medicine. that studies the functioning of the cardiovascular system. In this way, in the present investigation Google Scholar has been used as a search tool for scientific articles, conference proceedings, books, medical guides and any other document that contains information qualified for "Anesthesiology techniques", "vascular access in anesthe-siology" and “Cardiology and Anesthesiology.” The information collected has been organized by date and relevance, the information has been analyzed and organized only that allows knowing the defined approach. Specifically, the updated bibliography resulted from the methodological formula for the bibliographic study derived in three fields already described as a conclusion that would be, in summary, the development of cardiovascular anesthesia referred to perioperative procedures, the use of imaging in the follow-up of blood flows the vascular processes carried out by the anesthesiologist to reduce the consequences of the technique and the challenge of safe placement of vascular accesses in pediatric patients with particular emphasis on chronic diseases
