Summary: In the loss of reproductive function in old age, especially and definitively for women, not everything has ended in terms of the care provided to the health of the genitals. In any case, what is not lost begins then, the pleasurable eroticism, recognized and approved by the scientific, sexological and medical and social sciences development in general. Women experience different physiological changes during meno-pause, there is vasomotor instability, urogenital atrophy, decreased lubrication, and uterine atrophy, which can lead to painful spasms with the presence of orgasms. The objective set for the research has been addressed through the bibliographic review of scientific articles, academic publications and medical information available in electronic media of an academic scientific nature such as PubMed, Elseiver and some entities such as the World Health Organization that expose relevant information. for the theme. The information has been select-ed according to the contribution and has been organized in a summarized and consistent way to give an overview of the diagnosis and treatment that can be associated with female genital anatomical degeneration. The woman, as we have observed, not only suffers from physical symptoms, but also the aging of the genital anatomy leads to a decrease in the operative capacity of the organs whose main evidence is the lack of hormonal production. It is seen that the symptoms and treatments are varied because the physical characteristics of each woman are different, however, as the population ages and the quality of life is compromised, it is necessary to carry out studies and practices of the options that science can provide. to provide a guide to the population and correct the medical problems that women may face in their advanced age. Regarding diagnosis, the main indicator is age.
