Environmental pollution represents one of the most critical and serious problems in the world. Consequently, it is necessary to become aware, as well as the search for alternatives for its prompt solution. Atmospheric pollution or environmental pollution is the presence of any agent (physical, chemical or biological) or a combination of various agents in places, forms and concentrations such that they are harmful to the health, safety and well-being of the population, or they can be harmful to living things in general. It can be stated that air and water pollution, noise, chemical emissions, food contamination, ozone depletion and the consequences of climate change will continue to be the main problems related to human health in the world and that their effects will be more and more noticeable. The fundamental purpose of this research is to capture some of the most important effects of environmental pollution on people's health, in order to create concerns that promote awareness of this problem that is of utmost importance. The research was carried out under a bibliographic documentary type methodology. The different polluting agents in the environment are capable of causing multiple diseases in people that deteriorate their quality of life, cause widespread damage to the family, the productive apparatus of a nation, public spending and is even responsible for a high mortality rate. , especially in the most vulnerable populations such as the poor and children. It is essential to educate, create awareness and unite efforts, increase collaboration between the governments of the different countries, non-governmental organizations and national and international entities, of each one of the people, as well as the contribution of the studies carried out in environmental and health contamination material in order to conserve the planet and improve our quality of life and that of our environment. |
