No cloying idea of the general and abstract feature of the law is asserted. Rather, the intention is to wonder whether any provision reserved for one enterprise or one or few workers is indeed tolerable considering the concept of labour law as the arbitrator of an economic conflict, often quite intense and not bound to become any less so in the future. This structural function calls for enhanced consideration of equal treatment, as reasserted by the EU indications on State grants, not coincidentally hardly consistent with the interventions in favour of the old flag carrier or what is left of it.El objetivo de este artículo es investigar la naturaleza de las leyes singulares a la luz de los recientes fenómenos que han cuestionado algunas categorías tradicionales del Derecho laboral italiano. El requisito de la generalidad-abstracción caracteriza a la ley en general, pero no representa un momento esencial o necesario del derecho. El problema legislativo surge de la excepción que define constantemente la experiencia jurídica. El ius singulare introduce excepciones en el ordenamiento y el status necessitatis se presenta siempre como una zona ambigua en cualquier experiencia jurídica.
