The text gives a special focus on the duality of regimes established in the new Brazilian Civil Procedure Code for the execution of judicial titles (compliance with judgment) and for extrajudicial titles (execution process). It also deals with the imprisonment of the food debtor during the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. It concludes in detail on the subject under study.Aborda la ejecución de la obligación alimentaria en el nuevo Código de Proceso Civil Brasileño. Aborda el derecho a la alimentación, centrándose en su sustrato constitucional. Trata minuciosamente de los ritos de ejecución de las obligaciones alimentarias con embargo (mediante la técnica de la expropiación) y con pena de prisión (mediante la técnica de la coacción). El texto da un enfoque especial en la dualidad de regímenes establecidos en el nuevo Código de Proceso Civil Brasileño para ejecución de los títulos judiciales (cumplimiento de sentencia) y para los títulos extrajudiciales (proceso de ejecución). También se ocupa del encarcelamiento del deudor de alimentos durante el período de la pandemia Covid-19.
