Finally, within the main findings it was determined that antisocial and narcissistic personality profiles are more frequently associated with lying and deception behaviorsLas personas utilizan la mentira y el engaño para escapar, ocultar o desviar información para beneficio propio. Sin embargo, actualmente la relación entre la personalidad, la mentira y el engaño han sido poco investigadas, siendo el enfoque criminológico quien ha dedicado mayor cantidad de estudios bibliográficos acerca de los perfiles de personalidad asociados a la mentira y el engaño. El propósito de este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar la asociación de la mentira y el engaño en la personalidad mediante una revisión bibliográfica de 21 artículos, utilizando las directrices PRISMA y la herramienta de evaluación critica AMSTAR-2 para la selección y calidad de información recolectada.
