The forceful response of the Spanish legislator, legislating beyond the minimum content of the European directives, together with the jurisprudence, have put a stop to those abuses.La conocida como ley de contratos de aprovechamiento por turnos en su día constituyó el final del intento regulatorio desde la Unión Europea para poner fin a una práctica abusiva en el seno de los contratos vacacionales. Mediante agresivas campañas de promoción se había intentado captar la voluntad de los posibles adquirentes.
