En primer lugar, se analizan los argumentos que apoyan la necesidad de una regulación en el ámbito de los bienes matrimoniales y de las parejas registradas. A continuación, se presenta la historia de los intentos de armonizar la regulación de, al menos, algunos aspectos que regulan los bienes matrimoniales.
