Organic Law 3/2021, of March 24, on the regulation of euthanasia, has brought about an absolute change not only in the health field but also in criminal regulation by providing, among other aspects, a clause exonerating from criminal liability, which will take effect when practiced in accordance with the provisions of the law, generating a new typical framework differentiated by punishable and non-punishable euthanasia. In the present research, both figures are approached and endowed with content from a legal and doctrinal prism, given the absence of consolidated jurisprudence on the matter. |
