Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has not only brought consequences on human body health, but also on psychological health and on the elderly, the latter as a population at high risk of suffering the attacks of this pandemic due to their ages and associated comorbidities. , which has led in conjunction with social isolation and quarantine, feelings of depression, anxiety, fear and anguish due to fear of contagion. The methodology used for this research work is focused on a methodology oriented towards the need to investigate a situation precisely and coherently. Framed within a bibliographic review of a documentary type, since we are going to deal with issues raised at a theoretical level such as Family integration activities in the mental health of older adults in the context of the Sars-Cov-2 / Covid- pandemic. 19. The technique for data collection is made up of printed, audiovisual and electronic materials, the latter such as Google Scholar, PubMed, among others. The information obtained here will be reviewed for further analysis. It is understandable that the population of older adults generates mental conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, since this pandemic, due to its symptoms, is more likely to significantly affect older adults as a population at risk, not only because of the age, but because of its associated comorbidities. Apart from the fact that this population is the percentage that represents the highest percentage of deaths in the context of the pandemic, it is for this reason that it is understandable that older adults become depressed, have anxiety, due to the fear of contracting the disease. However, isolation accompanied by social neglect on the part of both the family and the rest of the institutions, in this type of population can generate the deepening of mental illnesses, many times older people feel that they are a burden for families and institutions, and in the context of this pandemic, these feelings tend to increase even more. That is why the integration strategies of the elderly to leisure activities together with the family are decisive so that they feel integrated within the family, and above all loved, protected and thus remove the feelings of fear, depression and anxiety.
