The COVID-19 pandemic brought various changes to the work and educational field for students, those with special educational needs have been no exception. First, it generated the need to carry out a digital evaluation to verify if students could carry out work remotely and not expose them to the virus, and second, it generated the need to maintain social distancing between people to avoid the spread of the virus once activities were resumed in person. This work aimed to identify the level of use and importance of ICTs and social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the first place, the terms were defined: ICT, COVID-19 and teleworking. Subsequently, data collection was carried out through a survey of 15 students with academic and work load in different companies in which it was possible to know the level of use and opinions of ICT, as well as the presence of social distancing in the companies. It was found that the vast majority of
respondents consider the use of ICT and social distancing very useful during the COVID-19 pandemic, also affirming that the companies they work for make use of social distancing and since the beginning of the pandemic have made more use of ICT than before. It was concluded that ICT should always be present in companies since they are of great help in unexpected situations. It was also proposed that social distancing should continue to be implemented in companies, since it helps to prevent the spread of the virus and makes students with special needs feel more protected when studying and working. |
